Preschool Classes (2-5 years old):
Ready Set Dance is a one hour combo class that includes jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, music and a whole lot of fun.

Little Groovers Jazz/Ballet/Tap is a fun and exciting program for Prep students. The students learn 3 different dance styles in their 45 minute class, Jazz,Ballet & Tap. We also offer a Little Groovers Tumble class. This class is designed to help the students develop strength, flexibility and co-ordination. It not only provides a safe pathway to learning all the exciting things the older students do but helps the students posture and core strength. Students are welcome to attend both classes to experience the full program.
Boys Only Classes:
Stomp It Out is a 2 class program designed just for our Boys aged 6-12 years. There is Stomp It Out Breakdance and Stomp It Out Tap. Our boys are strong, confident and they encourage each other to achieve, all while having fun creating the coolest new dance crew in town!
Primary and Secondary School Classes:
Ballet is a wonderful class that forms the foundation of most dance styles. It was founded in the courts of Italy and France in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The benefits of ballet are endless; it helps build students technique, musicality, deportment, muscle development and safe dance practice. Usually performed to classical music this genre is soft and graceful but requires a great deal of strength and discipline. As a foundation; Ballet is a must.
Our Ballet program consists of 2 classes per week, excluding the Pre-Ballet class. CSTD Exams are offered for this class.
Jazz is a fun and upbeat style involving lots of jumps, kicks and turns. There are many sister styles of jazz (Broadway/commercial/classical/ afro) but it is most typically performed to pop music. This is a great style for the dancer who can never sit still, its high energy matched with show stopping moves are sure to make Jazz a family favourite!
Exams are offered for this class. Students must take 2 jazz classes per week to be eligible.
Tap is the perfect class for those who love making music with their feet. Performed with specialist shoes students will learn to control and create rhythm through the art of dance. Tap is a wonderful style to develop student’s awareness of tempo, rhythm, unison and coordination. It is also the perfect class for those who love to make lots of noise!
Exams are offered for this class. Students must take 2 tap classes per week to be eligible.
Contemporary is all about expressive movement. The style encompasses and embraces all levels, shapes and movement patterns. Students will learn to explore dance and the wonderful ways in which the body can artistically express a narrative, theme or idea to an audience. Contemporary is a wonderful style for the dancer who dances not to impress; but to express.
Hip Hop founded in the late 70’s and early 80’s hip hop is one of the newest styles emerging in the dance world. Performed to urban music, Hip Hop includes a mixture of low laid back movements with strong and hard-hitting steps. There are many branches of the Hip Hop style (vogue/krump/tutting) and more new moves are created every day. This is a wonderful style for the funky dancer with a natural groove.
Breakdance (also called breaking) was invented in the early 1970s in Puerto Rican and African-American communities in South Bronx in New York City.The dance style evolved during the 70s and 80s in big cities of the United States. Breakdancing uses different body movements and spins, all of which are done to the rhythm of hip hop music. Breakdancing was most popular in the 1980s but continues to be common today. There are various categories in breakdance. They are power moves, style moves, toprock, downrock, and freezes.
Acrobatic Arts is a class that teaches students all those exciting tricks that can put the cherry on top of any dance routine. The class derives from gymnastic technique and teaches a set of exciting tumbling and balance skills. The carefully planned syllabus guides the students through strength and flexibility exercises to help them achieve new skills safely. If you have ever wanted to cartwheel, handstand or backflip this is the class for you!
Latin American originating in Latin America, this genre of dance consists of the cha-cha-cha, rumba, samba, paso doblé, and the jive of United States origin.
Musical Theatre Program (Theatrical)
Musical Theatre is an exciting class that explores the world of singing, acting and dancing. If you have dreamt of landing the lead role in a Broadway Hit then you need to learn the skills in our Musical Theatre classes! Building confidence, improving your memory and harnessing the power of your imagination, this class helps you escape to another world!
Exams are offered for this program. Students must take at least one dance class per week to be eligible.
Adult Jazz & Tap Classes
Our adult Jazz & Tap classes are for students with beginner to intermediate abilities, designed for adults aged 18 and above. Throughout the year students will learn different choreography combinations to keep things fun and fresh. These classes will also have the opportunity to perform in the end of year concert and will begin work on their routine in term 3. No uniform is required for the adult classes, but appropriate dance footwear must be worn.
